Treta Ke Thakur is a revered ancient temple situated in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. It is believed to mark the spot where Lord Ram performed the Ashwamedha Yagya (Horse Sacrifice Ritual) after returning to Ayodhya post his victory over Ravana. The temple enshrines beautifully sculpted black sandstone idols of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughna, and Hanuman.
These idols are believed to have been installed by King Vikramaditya in the Treta Yuga, and the current structure was renovated in the 18th century by Kullu King. The temple holds significant religious importance and is visited by devotees across the country.
