Tawang Monastery, also known as Galden Namgyal Lhatse, is the largest monastery in India and the second-largest in the world. Nestled at an altitude of 10,000 feet in the scenic town of Tawang, it is a spiritual and cultural landmark of the Mahayana Buddhist sect.
