Kanheri Caves are like special houses in big rocks near Mumbai. People who followed Buddhism used to live and meditate there a long time ago, even before our grandparents were born!

Inside these caves, there are cool carvings and statues made by the people who lived there. They made their own water tanks too, showing they were really smart about water. The caves are surrounded by lots of green trees and make a peaceful place to visit.

Long ago, people traveling on a journey used to stop by these caves. They left behind stories on the walls, like drawings in a big storybook. Now, many people go to visit these caves to see the cool carvings and learn about the old times.

To visit, you need to take a little adventure walk through a big park, so don’t forget your walking shoes and some water. Kanheri Caves are a super fun way to learn about history and see amazing carvings in big rocks!
