About
Gol Ghar is a big and round building in Patna, India. It looks like a beehive or a special grain holder. It was made a long time ago in 1786 to keep lots of food safe when people didn’t have enough to eat.
The building is like a giant circle, and it’s really tall, like a 29-story building! It’s made from strong bricks and has a twisty staircase inside that goes up to the very top. From there, you can see the whole city and the river nearby.
Even though it was meant for food, it couldn’t hold as much as they wanted because of a mistake in how it was made. But now, people come to visit and go up the twisty stairs to look at the view. They also do fun things inside to show how things were long ago in Bihar.
