About
Buland Darwaza is a huge and amazing gate in India. It’s like a special door that was made by a king named Emperor Akbar. The gate is very tall, almost as tall as a 17-story building! It’s made of red stone and has lots of pretty carvings and designs on it.
Emperor Akbar built this gate to celebrate his big win in Gujarat. The gate is like a symbol of how strong and powerful his kingdom was. People from long ago were really good at making things look beautiful and important.
Inside the gate, there are stairs that go up. If you climb those stairs, you can see all around and even the big mosque called Jama Masjid. Lots of people come to see this gate and learn about history and the kings who lived a long time ago. It’s like a giant piece of art that tells a story about the past.
