Lake Kalibari is a special place with an interesting story. A long time ago, a person named Sree Haripada Chakroborty had a wonderful experience. He saw a bright light that felt like the divine mother. He decided to make a temple for Maa Kali, and it became a place where people go to worship.

Gurudev, as they called him, made a special seat with five skulls for doing important rituals. He spent his life doing good things for others, like a big job of kindness.

In 1987, another person named Sri Nitai Chandra Basu learned from Gurudev and started taking care of the temple. He worked really hard for 15 years to make the temple even better. They have big plans to build a big place where people can pray, learn, and help each other.

The temple will have many parts, like a place to pray, a room for talking and learning, and even a place to rest. It will be a nice place where people from different backgrounds can come together, feel better, and help each other. Gurudev started this place in 1949, and Sri Netai Chandra Basu is keeping his good work going.
