The Viceroy’s Arch is an old building in Goa, India. It was made a long time ago to remember a famous explorer named Vasco da Gama. It’s like a pretty door that stands at the beginning of a place called Old Goa, close to a big river called Mandovi River.

The arch looks like a half-circle and is made from special rocks. It has beautiful carvings on it. There’s a space in the middle where a long time ago, there was a statue of Vasco da Gama. But now, there’s a statue of another important person named Dr. Tristão de Bragança Cunha, who helped Goa.
