The Basilica of Bom Jesus is a very old church in Goa, India. It’s like a treasure because it’s really old and important. People from all around the world come to see it.

The church is dedicated to baby Jesus and looks really beautiful. It was built a long time ago, starting in 1594 and finishing in 1605. The outside of the church is simple, but when you go inside, it’s like a fancy and colorful palace. There are pretty paintings and decorations everywhere.

One of the coolest things inside is that they have the body of a very important person named St. Francis Xavier. His body is in a fancy box made of silver. People believe his body has powers, and every ten years, lots of people come to see it.

This church is like a big magnet for tourists and people who believe in Jesus. It reminds everyone about the past and how special Goa is. It’s like a magical place that tells stories from a long time ago.
