Minto Park is a pretty and peaceful place near a big river called Yamuna in a city called Allahabad. A long time ago, an important person named Earl Canning talked about a big change there.

In 1858, he told everyone that the control of India was going to a different group. People came to this park to listen to him. The park was made in 1910 and named after Lord Minto.

The park has lots of green plants, tall trees, and colorful flowers. There’s an entrance and a white stone monument with lion statues to remember what happened. Families come here to walk, jog, and have fun together.
