Lucknow Zoo is a place where many animals live. It’s like a big animal park in a city called Lucknow in India.
Long ago, in 1921, people made this zoo so that everyone could see and learn about animals. They first called it the Prince of Wales Zoological Gardens because an important person visited. Later, they changed the name to remember a king from a long time ago.
Inside the zoo, there are all kinds of animals. There are big ones like lions, tigers, and elephants. There are also tall animals like giraffes and black-and-white ones like zebras. You can see animals that crawl like crocodiles and animals that fly like birds.
The animals have comfy places to live, like homes just for them. People can walk on paths and watch the animals. There’s even a lake where you can ride boats.
