Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, located in the blue city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is a unique and captivating park that showcases the desert ecosystem and the natural beauty of the Aravalli hills. Covering an area of 72 hectares, the park is nestled at the base of the Mehrangarh Fort, offering stunning views of the fort and the surrounding rocky desert landscape.

The park was created in 2006 as part of an effort to restore and preserve the natural vegetation of the region. It features a variety of native desert plants, cacti, and succulents that are adapted to the harsh desert environment. The park is home to over 80 species of plants, many of which are rare and endemic to the region, alongside diverse wildlife, including birds, insects, and reptiles.

Visitors to the park can enjoy walking trails that wind through rocky terrain and desert landscapes, providing an opportunity to learn about the local flora and fauna while experiencing the region’s natural beauty.
