Hemkund Sahib is one of the most revered Sikh pilgrimage sites, located at an elevation of 4,632 meters in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Situated near the stunning Hemkund Lake, this sacred shrine holds deep spiritual significance for Sikhs, as it is believed to be the meditation place of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, during his previous lifetime. The nearby Hemkund Lake is a high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows.
