The third highest waterfall in India is Barehipani Falls in Odisha, which drops 1,100 meters (3,609 ft) over two main cascades. The falls are located in the Simlipal National Park and are fed by the Budhabalanga River. Barehipani Falls are surrounded by dense sal forests that are home to a variety of wildlife, including tigers, elephants, and leopards. The best time to visit is during the monsoon season from July to September when water levels are highest.
