About

A long time ago, there was a king named Uthram Thirunal in a place called Travancore. He had a clever idea to create a special place where people could go and see interesting things. So, he started a place called a museum in the year 1855. To make this museum, he asked some of his friends for help, like a person named Mr. Cullen and others.

People were so excited to see this museum, and it opened in 1857. But later, another king named Ayilyam Thirunal thought the museum was too small to show all the cool stuff, so they had to tear it down. Then, they built a new one called the Napier Museum.

The museum was created to teach and show people different things like art, things from nature, and cool stuff from all around the world. It’s a place where you can learn and have fun!

Person above 12 years: 20.00 INR
Person below 12 years and above 5 years: 10.00 INR
Family tickets (father, mother & 2 children below 12 years): 40.00 INR
Group (35 students & 2 teachers): 150.00 INR
Car Parking : 150.00 INR
Ticket sale upto 4: 30 PM
