Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate College in Gorakhpur National Educational Society is governing body of Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate College Gorakhpur, which was established in the year 1909. The initiative was taken by Rai Bahadur Ram Garib Lal Ji who was a great personality, social worker and landlord of that time. He donated more than 15 acres of urban land in the Purdilpur area of Gorakhpur. The society have Enlightening world of stream lined education where excellence has been redefined by comprehensive efforts of the competent professionals and visionary management. Our campus is a warm, open, and friendly campus with a high level of discipline among the students as well as teaching and non-teaching staff. The goal of Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate College, Gorakhpur is to provide quality education and circulate the best method of learning among the students with excellence. The method of teaching is friendly and mould students into responsible citizens of tomorrow. We remember and record Rai Bahadur Ram Garib Lal Ji as founder of national educational society, the mission of which was “Education” under the leadership of visionary people of that time.
