Maharana Pratap Inter College, Gorakhpur, holds a rich history and was established in 1932 by the renowned educationist and social worker, Param Pujya Brahmalin Mahant Digvijay Nath Ji Maharaj. The college is committed to nurturing future citizens of the country, instilling in them a sense of national pride, cultural values, and a dedication to serving the nation. It serves as the flagship institution of the Maharana Pratap Education Council in Gorakhpur and has gained a distinct identity among schools in the state.
Under the administration and guidance of Rashtrasant Brahmalin Gorakhpeethadhishwar and the school’s minister, Mahant Adityanath Ji Maharaj (who later became the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh), the school has made significant progress in various fields. The current Gorakhpeethadhishwar, Mahant Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj, also serves as the minister and manager of Gorakhpur Samprati Vidyalaya, continuing the tradition of efficient leadership and continuous improvement.
